MANY TERMINALS.ONE ANCHOR.
Keep projects, shells, Codex and Claude Code sessions in one workspace. A tool built for my daily work.
See how it works ↓Personal application used daily
Sessions and interactions illustrated in a scripted scene.
01 / IN MOTION
Organise space around the work.
02 / The starting point
Keep projects and terminal sessions together.
With several projects and terminals open, finding the right session becomes a task in itself.
03 / What it brings together
- 01Group sessions by project.
- 02Split, enlarge and minimise terminal panels.
- 03Find sessions through a radar and navigate with a command palette.
04 / Under the interface
- The constraint
- Switch projects while keeping terminal sessions running during use.
- The decision
- xterm.js terminals connected to real pseudo-terminals. A Tauri/Rust engine is available alongside the Electron version, with separate profiles.
Layouts, shortcuts and project switching serve the same purpose: keeping work accessible.
05 / What this explores
Keeping sessions within reach.
Design a workspace around actual use: organisation, keyboard input, context switching and session continuity while working.
Project status & presentation scope
Personal application used by Alexandre. Terminals stay active when switching projects; closing the application stops its processes. The illustration above explains the layouts.
